The Lux Asia Pacific Group, which has been part of the Vorwerk family since 2001, is based in Singapore and distributes its products throughout the Asia-Pacific region. This gives Vorwerk a further foothold in the world's largest growth region.
Lux Asia Pacific primarily sells vacuum cleaners developed by Vorwerk and a water filter it produces itself. By mapping the water quality in the various regions, we are able to offer tailor-made solutions to our customers.
The Lux Asia Pacific business unit posted a turnover of
€ 34 million in 2009. The products of Lux Asia Pacific
are sold by some 1,600 advisers in Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand by the direct sales method. The distribution structure is adapted to the needs of our Asian customers. LUX advisers personally deliver the products to the consumer's home. This creates a close relationship with the customer, which is also a major factor in the success of our business in Asia.
