New sense of space

Carpets are the original Vorwerk product – the first woven carpets in Germany came onto the market in 1883. Vorwerk Carpets has established itself as the leading supplier of high-quality carpets with its wide range of products for both residential homes and commercial properties.

Warmth and security, quality and design without compromise are the hallmarks of a Vorwerk carpet. With the textile tile concept "Scale-TEXtiles Collections by Hadi Teherani" Vorwerk is the first to break with the conventions of previous carpet tile collections and open up new horizons in interior decoration in term of creativity, function and design. The Vorwerk carpet have received the official seal of recommendation from the German Allergy and Asthma Sufferers Association. And the innovative "smart carpet", which can be used as an electronic control, pathfinder or house alarm, received the "Futures Award 2006".

The Vorwerk Carpets business entity posted a turnover of € 70 million in 2009 and employs a staff of 350.
